Sardinian Campsites Spiaggia la Salina SRL under new management, is located in the Calasetta area in Southern Sardinia (Sulcis Iglesiente), a small tourist center with a rich heritage of cultures and traditions similar in many respects to those of Liguria.
But the real wealth of Calasetta consists in its many natural beauties.
Wide expanses with dense Mediterranean vegetation with a thousand colors and scents, suggestive cliffs with small and characteristic coves and splendid beaches with crystal clear water and very fine sand are the main attractions of this ideal country for spending a relaxing holiday but above all nature pristine.

Calasetta

Calasetta is located in the Sulcis Inglesiente, a village of fishermen and farmers, where there is the vine called "Carignano del Sulcis", a wine particularly appreciated and known all over the world. In Calasetta there is the "Torre Sabauda", where on summer nights it becomes a museum with frequent craft exhibitions.
When your children want to try sailing, the port of Calasetta organizes sailing courses.
Calasetta is connected to the island of San Pietro by ferries that depart from the port (30 minute crossing). If, on the other hand, you want to go diving, there are diving centers in Sant'Antioco and Carloforte.
In the town of S.Antioco, about 9 km from Calasetta, you can visit archaeological sites, such as catacombs, caves and the Basilica of S.Antioco Martire, while between Carbonia and Iglesias, there are very interesting archaeological and mining sites to see.
